Julie started taking ATS® classes after seeing her friend Maria dance at the ISAMETD Winter Bazaar.  She enjoys the idea of dancing as a tribe and supporting each other: “It’s fun knowing I can dance with my local troupe and be able to read their subtle cues, but also take that knowledge and connect with other dancers around the world.”

Julie enjoys taking classes from Jeana and going to workshops. There’s always something new to learn or a technique to improve.  In her other life she works in a dental office handling patient’s insurance and claims.  She enjoys sewing and various other crafts, and watching the antics of her 1 year old cat, Kirby.  She has also served as a volunteer usher at The Center for the Performing Arts in Carmel, IN, since its opening in January 2011.
